Art. 1 Objective
The non-profit organization provides the artist with a dedicated tattooing space located at Rue des Brasseurs 9, 1000 Brussels, for the purpose of performing their tattoo work. The tattoo area includes 5 stations equipped with all necessary materials for tattooing (excluding the tattoo machine itself). It should be noted that the association provides equipment suitable for the use of a rotary machine. It is not equipped for coil machines.
Art. 2 Access to the Tattooing Space and Reservations
The studio is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, except on public holidays or in exceptional circumstances. The artist manages their own schedule independently.
Art. 3 Workspace and Equipment
L’Abeille Blanche provides the artist with all consumables as well as the necessary furniture to perform their work (see Art. 1). The artist must clean and disinfect their workstation and dispose of their waste at the end of each tattoo session.They must respect the premises and the equipment provided (computer, printer, etc.) and notify L’Abeille Blanche in case of any issue with the equipment or products.
The artist uses their own tattoo machine and all required accessories. They may not leave any personal machine or equipment in shared spaces, unless previously agreed upon with the association and other artists, for a duration specified in the agreement.
If the artist wishes to use their own consumables, they must obtain explicit permission from the association. The use of personal consumables is at their own expense. Even in this case, the artist is still required to pay the full commission to the association.Any artist who damages shared equipment or the workspace will be financially responsible for repair or replacement.
Art. 4 Sales
The artist sets their own prices freely. The association handles all transactions: the artist must therefore accompany the client to the front desk at the end of each tattoo and announce the total price to the person in charge.
The association takes a 30% commission on the total price of the tattoo (if a deposit has already been paid to the artist, it will be added to the final amount paid). The association collects its 30% share, payable in cash, by card, or via Payconiq by the client.
The artist receives their 70% share directly, payable in cash, by card, or via Payconiq. If the client wishes to pay by card, the artist must have their own payment terminal.Under no circumstances will the association collect the artist’s share.
The maximum daily commission amount for the shop is €400.
Art. 5 Copyright
The artist retains full copyright over their work and agrees not to plagiarize or steal the work of others.
Art. 6 Advertising and Social Media
The artist authorizes L’Abeille Blanche to take photos and videos of their work, to edit them if necessary, and to publish and archive them.L’Abeille Blanche reserves the right to demand the removal of any work that does not comply with its internal policy (e.g., homophobic, racist, or otherwise discriminatory designs).
The artist also authorizes L’Abeille Blanche to promote them and mention them on its social media and website.The artist agrees not to spread negative publicity or defamation about L’Abeille Blanche, even after the contract has ended.
Art. 7 Rules and Obligations
The artist agrees to:
Pay a 30% commission on each client, deducted at the time of payment.
Provide L’Abeille Blanche with their hygiene and sanitation certificate (if such certification exists in their country of origin).
The contract will be automatically terminated if any of these obligations are not met.
Art. 8 Disputes – Liability
L’Abeille Blanche undertakes to offer only certified and authentic services. However, the association cannot be held responsible for the quality or execution of work carried out by third parties. The artist remains solely responsible for their services.
In the event of a dispute resulting in the cancellation of a sale by L’Abeille Blanche, the commission received will remain fully due as compensation for the execution of its mandate.Any request for reimbursement or damage repair will be the sole responsibility of the artist.
